I’ve got big news…

After months of studying and training under leading health experts,  I am so excited to share that I am finally launching my health coaching program!  Last month I took the final test, and its official: I am now Rachel Prendergast, LCSW, PHC. I still can’t believe it! This February will mark seven years since Brendan and I made a drastic lifestyle change—adopting the Paleo diet.  Over the years, our health habits have evolved and matured, but we still mostly follow the principles outlined in the Primal Blueprint.  Primal eating, exercise, sleep habits, and play have become a huge part of my life, and I am excited to share that with you through this blog—or even through a personal coaching relationship.

Being a stay at home mom is the greatest blessing in my life, and I’m sure that many of you can relate to that.  But after practicing social work for almost a decade, I truly miss counseling and empowering others.  I am thrilled to launch this service and transform the health of my clients! However, I will only be able to accept four clients to start — I feel that this is important so that I can  provide the most focused, comprehensive care for you.  My aim is to help discern your health goals and offer the necessary support and organization to reach them.

With less than 10 weeks until Christmas, this is the perfect time to reshape your goals (and your body), commit to avoiding holiday weight gain, and head into the new year with a different vision of your life.  I am so excited to help you make a substantial and realistic change in your health and happiness leading up to and during the holiday season.  Imagine how much better you’ll feel heading into 2018 if your goals are already getting met!
